2024 is going to be a very exciting year for the TMPS.

We are thrilled to announce our return to the Victorian Artists Society Galleries for our 106th annual exhibition.

In 1918 our rebellious founding members stormed out of the VAS in protest at Max Meldrum being unseated as VAS president.

The TMPS has flourished ever since as a unique body of professional artists. Even today our members can trace their connections to our founding members and the Meldrum School.

This year’s ‘Return to Albert Street’ will showcase our present members’ work alongside a selection of past member paintings in the stunningly renovated VAS Galleries.

To add to the excitement, regular painting demonstrations, lectures and guided talks will also be held in the galleries.

Exhibition dates: 7-20 August 2024.
