Presented here is a collection of paintings by the foundation members of the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society.

Incensed at his defeat in the 1918 election for President of the Victorian Artists Society (VAS), Max Meldrum split from the VAS and regrouped with 19 former VAS members to form the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society. Works from these 20 foundation members are shown below.
